Dr. David Kriet, a facial plastic surgeon in Kansas City, KS, has been selected for the 2011 Best of Shawnee Mission Award in the Ears, Nose, and Throat Specialist category by the U. S. Commerce Association (USCA). Dr. Kriet says he is honored to receive this award, as it demonstrates his continued commitment to his patients and his community.

The U. S. Commerce Association (USCA) has announced the 2011 Best of Shawnee Mission Award recipients, and Dr. David Kriet has been selected for his work in facial plastic surgery in Kansas City, KS. Each year, the USCA recognizes companies and practices that have contributed to the positive image of small businesses in their local community. Dr. Kriet says he is honored to receive this award, adding that it further strengthens his dedication to his patients and his drive to offer them the safest and most effective facial plastic surgery procedures, ranging from the facelift to revision rhinoplasty.

The USCA relies on a variety of sources—including other business owners, professional associations, and chambers of commerce—to gather information and analyze the data to select a winner in a number of categories based on the overall quality of their work. Dr. Kriet says the award recognizes his positive impact on his patients’ lives and the community as a whole. “Having satisfied and happy patients who feel that their needs have been met by our staff and practice is my main goal. This award is simply a bonus that reflects positively on our practice.”

When performing procedures such as the facelift or rhinoplasty, Dr. Kriet says it is important to recognize the potential impact these procedures can have on his patients. Regardless of whether a patient decides to undergo a procedure to improve function or aesthetic appearance, he says the ultimate goal is not only focused on an outward, physical harmony, but an internal harmony as well. “I strive to help patients feel comfortable with their appearance. By delivering natural results, patients feel restored after reconstructive procedures and refreshed or enhanced after cosmetic procedures.”
