Pre- and Post-Operative Instructions for BOTOX® Cosmetic Injection

You may experience some of the following:

1. 1) Occasional mild temporary redness at the injection site
2. 2) Occasional mild temporary swelling
3. 3) Rare mild bruising
4. 4) Occasional tingling sensation
5. 5) Very rare droopy eyelid
6. 6) Very rare – nausea, fatigue, flu-like symptoms

Following BOTOX® Cosmetic therapy you may DO the following:

1. 1) Immediately return to light activity, including work
2. 2) Apply makeup and skin care products as desired but avoid glycolic or Retin A products for one day

Please AVOID rubbing the injection site and AVOID strenuous exercise for 24 hours.
