Radiesse™

Radiesse™ works to improve the facial aesthetic by reducing the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines around the nose and mouth. This filler also can add volume to the cheeks and smooth out depressions and scars. Radiesse™ is approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration and is capable of stimulating the growth of your body’s natural collagen.

Composed of microspheres in a biocompatible gel, Radiesse™ consists of minerals found in humans and carries little risk of an allergic reaction. Radiesse™ is typically used to treat the nasolabial folds and cheek areas where volume correction is beneficial. Radiesse™ is injected with an ultra-thin needle into the target areas, and, depending on the number of areas being treated, the entire procedure usually only takes about 15 minutes to complete.

Some bruising and swelling can be expected after treatment, but this is usually mild and fades within a few days. Patients generally resume normal daily routines immediately after treatment with Radiesse™.
Radiesse™ results are typically immediately apparent, and this treatment is known for its long-lasting effects. In fact, you may experience results that last from a year to two years with Radiesse™. Plus, “touch-up” treatments can restore the effects once they start to fade.
